This Privacy Policy explains what information Indoor Harvest Lab (“we”, “us”, “the site”) collects when you visit https://indoorharvestlab.com, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address, name (if you include it) and the content of your message. We use this only to reply and to improve the site, and we do not sell it or add you to a mailing list.
- Comments. If comments are enabled and you leave one, we collect the name, email address and comment text you provide, plus your IP address and browser user agent to help detect spam.
- Usage data. Like most websites, our server automatically logs technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and the time of the visit, for security and troubleshooting.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (for example, which pages are read and how people arrive). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies and collects information such as approximate location, device and browser type, and pages viewed. Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We use cookies for analytics and, if you leave a comment, to remember your details for next time. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, although some features may not.
Advertising
We may show advertising in future through Google AdSense or other advertising partners. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to sites on the internet. Service providers
We use trusted providers to operate the site, including our web host and Google (analytics, and advertising in future). They process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms.
Data retention
Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in Google Analytics (14 months). Emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry. Server logs are rotated automatically by our host.
Your rights (GDPR, UK GDPR and CCPA/CPRA)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Residents of California have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Children
This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security and external links
The site is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. Our articles link to other websites; we are not responsible for their privacy practices.
